How to get rid of garlic smell
I love garlic. I like it raw, roasted or fried; with chicken, pasta or shrimp. It is very good for your health and basic in Mediterranean cuisine… and smells terrible.
I specially hate it when I peel and/or chop garlic and my hands smell like it. No wonder why vampires don’t like it! 🙂
There is a simple tip to avoid this issue: Try not to press the garlic very hard while manipulating it. When you finish working with it, open the tap and let the water run over your fingers for a while, but DON’T RUB them. If you do, the garlic smell will stick to them.
Probably many of you already knew this, but anyway I’m sharing just in case. I found it very useful when my mother-in-law told me.
